Jyotish is the sanskrit name for vedic astrology, meaning "Science of Light" . There are many ways to understand a subject's character and behaviour during it's life time which include Palmistry, Astral Charts, Tarot Cards etc. Popularly these are a means of predicting past, present and future of a person.

This subject is very vast and the methods(Indian) mentioned above cross paths. The one i've chosen is Astral Charts made up of the following astral bodies:

1. Sun.
2. Moon.
3. Mars.
4. Mercury.
5. Jupiter.
6. Venus.
7. Saturn.
8. Rahu (shadow planet)
9. Ketu (shadow planet)

In Astrology even sun and moon are mentioned as planets. Based on the planets positons in the 12 houses of the Astro Chart and the Nakshatras, all the predictions are made. There are many aspects which are considered while making a prediction. I'll be using fables to describe the relation among the planets which help in determining the course of events in one's life.
